Rescuers from Southern California are headed to Nepal to help with aftermath of Saturday's magnitude 7.8 earthquake.

Rescuers from Southern California are headed to Nepal to help with aftermath of Saturday's magnitude 7.8 earthquake. A Santa Monica-based documentary filmmaker is among the more than 4,000 people who were killed. That number continues to climb as search and rescue crews dig through the rubble there. KCRW's Steve Chiotakis spoke with LA Observed's Kevin Roderick.
