Last Thursday, Donald Trump kicked off his campaign for California's June 7 GOP primary with a speech in Costa Mesa. At that same time, most of the Republican Party of Orange County's influencers were in Sacramento to help out their candidate, Ted Cruz. But Trump has an ace up his card: OC's GOP voters, many disaffected with party leadership and looking for someone new. Given Orange County has long influenced conservative politics nationwide, will it do the same this year?
