2016 starts with three stories that roiled OC through last year. An informant scandal in the Orange County Jail has seen the Orange County District Attorney's Office thrown out of a high-profile death penalty case and led to legal scholars demanding a federal investigation. Long-time Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez's bid for a Senate seat has led to a group of Democratic politicians battling for her open seat. And in Anaheim, district elections are once again embroiled in controversy after the city council rejected a proposed voting map, sparking threats of yet another lawsuit. Which of these stories will draw the most national attention?
