The Fall of OC's Great Brown Hope

Hosted by

This week during preliminary hearings, Orange County Superior Court has seen woman after woman allege that former Santa Ana councilmember Carlos Bustamante sexually assaulted them in his capacity as a Public Works manager for the county of Orange. Bustamante was charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors in 2012, which led to the end of a political career that once saw him work the corridors of power in OC as a rarity: a Latino Republican. Bustamante's alleged crimes also led to a OC Grand Jury report that charged an "atmosphere of fear" had discouraged workers from reporting sexual harassment and protected people like Bustamante. If Bustamante gets convicted, what will happen next?
