Will OC go Hillary?

Last month, FiveThirtyEight's Nate Silver caused a stir when he said a good possibility exists that Orange County might favor a Democrat in the presidential election for the first time in 80 years. Republican politicians still dominate county politics, but many face strong Democratic challengers for state assembly, state senate, and congressional races. The Democratic Party of Orange County, for its part, has gone in overdrive to sign up young, Latino, and Asian-American voters, while Donald Trump has turned off many GOP candidates. But will OC's long-rooted conservatism eventually win? And if it doesn't, what does that mean for the GOP in Orange County?
