Maricelina Lorenzo, 34, says she was forced to move to Los Angeles. "They brought me here. It wasn't because I wanted to," she says. She didn't come as a child. She came for help. When they were living in Mexico, her husband got sick and needed better medical attention. Their only option was to move to the US. But she didn't want to.
