From La Burbuja: Neidi

When Neidi Domínguez left Mexico, she was nine years old. "But i don’t remember any of that because we were asleep. So I don't remember what happened when we were in TJ (Tijuana) in line to waking up in Pasadena already at my grandma's house," she said.

She lived in the US with her mother and younger sister. Neidi had always wanted to visit Mexico, but she was undocumented. Last April, her green card arrived and one of the first things she did was book a flight to her native country. She was going home to her "motherland," she said. But when she arrived, she realized she wasn't as Mexicana as she thought.
