Repairing Vintage BMW Motorcycles

At 67, Rick Monahan dreams of a simpler time, back in the 60s, before smartphones and computers. His long gray hair and his easygoing generous nature remind you that Rick has, proudly, never stopped being a hippie.

At 67, Rick Monahan dreams of a simpler time, back in the 60s, before smartphones and computers. His long gray hair and his easygoing generous nature remind you that Rick has, proudly, never stopped being a hippie. He still repairs and restores his favorite make of motorcycle -the kind he bought and rode as a teenager –the now vintage BMWs from the 50s, 60s (and sometimes the 70s). He's moved his business from Venice to Inglewood and is now in Tarzana, where he works with the new owner.
