The Typewriter Repairman

When Ermanno came to the US in 1967 he was trained to repair very complex mechanical office machines. He was "the highest high tech" but now, still doing similar work, he says he's low tech.

When Ermanno came to the US in 1967 he was trained to repair very complex mechanical office machines. He was "the highest high tech" but now, still doing similar work, he says he's low tech. He hates computers and smartphones and if he has to type something... he'll use a typewriter. But his relationship with these beautiful machines has been a good one. After all these years, he still thinks typewriters are sexy.
