On Tuesday, February 13, Wednesday, February 14 and Thursday, February 14 (6am-noon and 3am-9pm),
KCRWworldnews.com will air full live coverage of the debate in the
House of Representatives on a resolution objecting to President Bush's
proposed troop build up in Iraq. (The debate may continue on Friday, February 16, as well.)
The House is expected to vote on the non-binding resolution expressing
disapproval of the President's decision to deploy 20,000 additional US
troops to Iraq. It's the first debate in the House on the war since
Democrats won control of Congress in November. In an unusual move,
every member of Congress will be allotted five minutes to speak.
In addition, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (4-5pm), KCRW 89.9
FM and KCRW.com will broadcast NPR's daily hour-long wrap-ups of the
debate. NPR Newscaster Paul Brown anchors the hour-long program,
featuring highlights of the day's debate and analysis from NPR
reporters and others.

PIE FEST CANCELED
KCRW has decided to cancel this Sunday’s Good Food PieFest. We are aware of the campus protests at UCLA and believe it’s in the best interest for all to cancel.
PieFest is a beloved KCRW community event. As such, we will be looking into a possible reschedule and share the details as soon as we can.
