More Mean Streets USA: A Collection of Short Crime Fiction

Robert Egan returns as director along with Karl Lundeberg, who created the music for the original series. The series is narrated by veteran voice-over artist, Daniel Riordan. Jacqueline des Lauriers is executive producer; Bob Carlson, Mario Diaz and Ray Guarna recorded the stories, which were edited and mixed by Carlson.   Recorded and produced at KCRW, the 8-hour series features detective stories by contemporary and classic mystery writers including Margaret Millar, Walter Mosley, Ed McBain, Robert B. Parker and Barbara Seranella among the 14 authors. Readers include actors Stacy Keach, Alfre Woodard, Dakin Matthews, Judith Light, Tony Plana, Carl Lumbly, Neil Patrick Harris and other names familiar from stage and screen.
