Iraq War Films; Stew

Hosted by

The failure of Iraq War movies to generate audience buzz: an interview with Kimberly Peirce, whose fiction film Stop-Loss, was inspired by her brother, back from a tour in the Army, who showed her how soldiers are filming the war for themselves. And the performer known as Stew talks about his rock musical, Passing Strange, which opened on Broadway to acclaim. It's an autobiographical show about a black teen into punk music who leaves Los Angeles to find himself in Berlin.
