With the ongoing Hollywood strikes, there seemed to be a glimmer of hope when the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) met with the Writers Guild a few days ago. The meeting ended without a clear resolution. While negotiations continue, SAG-AFTRA has modified its interim agreement with independent projects.

Meanwhile, fall film festivals and the television season will be very different. Kim Masters and Matt Belloni discuss what that may look like.

Many KCRW staff are members of SAG-AFTRA, though we are under a separate contract from the agreement at issue between actors and studios.
