Kim Masters and Matt Belloni have an extra long banter for an extra newsy week. They discuss NBC’s decision to pull the plug on the 2022 Golden Globes and Disney’s disappointing subscriber numbers. And why are the stars of “A Quiet Place 2” making noise over the movie’s theatrical run?

Then Buzzfeed reporter Krystie Lee Yandoli talks about her investigation into the alleged toxic work environment at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” DeGeneres announced the upcoming 19th season of her show will be its last. She says she’s not leaving because of the stories about her workplace, but following Yandoli’s reporting in the summer of 2020, DeGeneres' show plummeted in the ratings and lost 1 million viewers.
