Revisiting George Takei on Activism and 'To Be Takei'

Hosted by ,

For this holiday weekend, we're revisiting a conversation with the galaxy's most famous helmsman. But there's more to George Takei's life than his years aboard the USS Enterprise. The documentary by filmmaker Jennifer Kroot explores Takei's life from his childhood in an internment camp during WWII to his recent years as an activist for LGBT rights and marriage equality. Takei tells Kim Masters how Kroot convinced him to be involved in the documentary and how they were able to get William Shatner to sit for an on-camera interview. Plus, an all new Hollywood News Banter.
