Actor Jack O'Connell may only be 24, but he has a wisdom far beyond his years. Growing up "with gypsy travelers" who used violence like a type of currency, O'Connell was forced to to toughen up at an early age - something he used to inform his acting. "I do recall growing up and being young and watching dramas, and finding in most cases performances a little inadequate, particularly if they were set on street level. Because the majority of actors aren't from street level." With roles in Starred Up, Unbroken, and the upcoming '71, he's quickly become someone to keep an eye on. O'Connell talks about working with Michael Caine, and what films he watched with Angelina Jolie to prepare for his role as war hero Louie Zamperini in Unbroken.
