Director Shawn Levy says This Is Where I Leave You is a rare kind of script. The dysfunctional group comedy, about four adult siblings who are forced to return home and sit shiva when their father dies, evokes dysfunctional group comedies like The Big Chill and Little Miss Sunshine, where every role is substantial.
