Join the Los Angeles Field Recording Club for an afternoon of listening and field recording along the Arroyo Seco in South Pasadena.

We’ll explore the park and surrounding area, listening for wildlife, water, infrastructure, recreation, traffic, and the overlapping sounds of this urban wildlife corridor.

MEETING PLACE

100 block of Pasadena Avenue, South Pasadena, east of the York Blvd Bridge.

We’ll meet at the upper entrance, marked by a small plaque on the river rock wall.

There is plenty of on-street parking along Pasadena Avenue.

Bring whatever you like to record with. Phones are welcome, and no experience or special equipment is necessary.

Free and open to everyone.
