KCRW, Focus Features, and Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County invite you to an advance screening of Hamnet, followed by a discussion with director, co-writer, and co-editor Chloé Zhao, production designer Fiona Crombie, costume designer Malgosia Turzanska, co-editor Affonso Gonçalves, and composer Max Richter moderated by KCRW's Elvis Mitchell.

From Academy Award® winning writer/director Chloé Zhao, Hamnet tells the powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece, Hamlet.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 19th

WHERE: Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County - Commons Theater 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90007

WRISTBAND PICK-UP: Starting at 5:30 PM

AFTER-HOURS MUSEUM ACCESS: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Galleries include: Grand Foyer, African Mammal Hall, North American Mammal Hall, Judith Perlstein Welcome Center, and the Theater Gallery

FOOD & BEVERAGE: South LA Cafe in the Welcome Center will be open until 7:00 PM. Purchases are permitted in the theater (drinks must have lids). No outside food or drinks allowed.

DOORS OPEN: 6:45 PM

SCREENING: 7:30 PM Conversation to follow the screening

ADMISSION: Guests must RSVP to attend. Admission is free. Attendees will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP does not guarantee entry.
