KCRW’s Good Food x Grocery Goblin’s Stories In Store: Lunchtime

Some of the best stories in Los Angeles are hiding in plain sight — on grocery shelves, behind deli counters, in the produce aisle. This September, KCRW’s Good Food and Grocery Goblin invites you to spend an evening among them.

We’re gathering inside Sabzee Market, the beloved Persian grocery in the Valley, for a night of essays, poems, and stories all built around a single delicious theme: Lunchtime.

Hosted by Vanessa Anderson — the culinary anthropologist behind Grocery Goblin — the evening brings together voices from every corner of the food world: Dorrin Shahsavari & Niousha Nabighods, Brooks Headley, Lauren Bethke, Angel Dimayuga, and Frank Shyong, with a special lunchtime introduction from Good Food’s own Evan Kleiman.
