L.A. Times Festival of Books

Come to the LA Times Festival of Books at USC April 18th–19th and stop by the KCRW tent (#031 in the Cardinal Zone). We’ll be celebrating the legacy of Michael Silverblatt and decades of Bookworm — and hosting a hands-on activity with our partners at Active Cultures, an LA public arts nonprofit exploring the connections between art, food, and ecology. Artist and writer Cass Marketo will lead a seed paper activity you can make and take home. While you're there: pick up a Bookworm bookmark, spin the KCRW prize wheel, explore your connection to soil and storytelling, and discover what KCRW and Active Cultures are working on. Come say hello — we’ll be at Tent #031 all weekend.
