Odunde Festival 2026

Leimert Park Plaza
Welcome to Odunde 2026: The Yorùbá New Year Festival! 🌍
Building on the massive success of last year's Yoruba Cultural Fair, Odunde is returning to the heart of Los Angeles at Leimert Park Plaza on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 for an even bigger celebration of Yorùbá culture, heritage, and community.
Join to mark year 10,068 of the Yoruba New Year with a fun celebration full of culture with live performances, dance, games, and more! All ages are welcome to celebrate, learn, and immerse yourself in Yoruba culture for a day.
Experience the pulse of the Gan Gan talking drums, live Masquerade performances, and the vibrant Balogun Market featuring local food and fashion vendors. This year, we are incredibly proud to debut an expanded Kids Zone & STEM Hub, plus our Teacher's Tent for language learning and history.
Whether you are deeply rooted in the culture or looking to experience the beauty of Yorùbá traditions for the first time, all are welcome.
