A Spring Boogie Down, presented by KCRW's Tyler "Boogie" Boudreaux! A psychedelic rock exploration of Los Angeles, featuring live performances from three local acts + live visuals from Electron Disruption.

AGUA is a band from Los Angeles with a sound that blends worldly rhythms and progressives sounds.

The group was started with the intention of moving away from traditional rock structures and still leading with the inspiration of the gritty texture and true tones of the early days of blending world music with guitars and keyboards. Without being overly reminiscent or revivalist in style or sound we play songs that stand out as singles and build our world that welcomes you as a listener. Agua has been building momentum for the past two years by opening for local and touring acts such as Mohama Saz, Levitation Room and the Mystery Lights. We have already released a handful of singles along with a music video in anticipation of our debut record which we have ready to release.

Kontrol Inc. is a post punk band from the suburbs of Los Angeles.

A VIOLET IN YOUTH welds together guitar-driven odysseys that are peripatetic yet purposeful, esoteric but not inscrutable experiments indebted as much to theory as they are to pop formulas. Recorded & performed in Los Angeles along with songwriter/ guitarist Daniella Lollie, keyboardist Lisa Yan, drummer Amanda Erwin, bassist Kelly Kuhn & guitarist Garrett Zeile, their poetic intensity stirs the imagination of modern rock.

Tyler "Boogie" Boudreaux - Tyler "Boogie" Boudreaux (she/her) is a disc jockey, broadcaster, James Beard-nominated storyteller, and community organizer, born and raised in Los Angeles. Tyler hosts a weekly music program over the 89.9FM KCRW airwaves Thursday nights from 8-10pm, broadcasting a psychedelic swirl of genres ranging from rock to soul, alternative R&B to post-punk, disco to house. Tyler's "BOOGIE DOWN" dance party ignites dancefloors around Los Angeles, including a residency here at Gold-Diggers. She's a festival junkie, live music fanatic and lover of The Doors.
