Zsela

Pretty But Wicked presents Zsela!

Zsela last appeared at 2220 in April of last year in a memorable performance with guitarist and composer Arto Lindsay, collaborating on an immersive, multi-channel sound installation directed and mixed live on the fly by sound designer Jacob Johnson.

Zsela is a singer and songwriter known for her deep contralto vocals and experimental approach to art pop. Her 2020 EP Ache of Victory introduced a sound built around sparse arrangements and slow-burning melodies, followed by her debut album Big For You, released on Mexican Summer in 2024. Produced with Daniel Aged and Gabe Wax, the album features contributions from Marc Ribot, Nick Hakim, and Jasper Marsalis. In 2026, she released 4 Dreams, a collaborative project with Daniel Aged and Taul Katz that expands her work into ambient and electronic music. She recently released “Kinda Guy,” her latest single, with more new music set to arrive before the end of the year.
