Before that, wrote the weekly “Off The Record” media column for The New York Observer. He also worked for Newsweek from 2005 to 2010, covering the 2008 presidential election and contributing to the magazine’s best-selling book “A Long Time Coming.” Nick co-founded the blog IvyGate. In 2005 he graduated from Columbia University, where he was editor-in-chief of the Columbia Daily Spectator.
