Samuel McDougle

Born and raised in New York City. I graduated from Vassar College, where I studied Neuroscience and Behavior. After Vassar, I spent two years working with Javier Medina at the University of Pennsylvania studying motor learning and its associated cerebellar circuits in the murine model. I am interested in investigating the neural substrates of motor learning, the interaction of explicit cognitive strategies and implicit motor adaptation during skill acquisition, and timing and time perception. I'm also a musician, and have toured with various acts in Europe and North America, playing fiddle, guitar, and banjo.
