I can’t believe how fast summer is going by. It’s almost July already! The good news – we’ve got a ton of free music coming your way. For starters, we are presenting local faves Everest at One Colorado in Pasadena on Saturday, June 26. After that, we move to Westwood for the Hammer Museum’s fantastic “Also, I Like to Rock” series – free outdoor concerts every Thursday in July!

First up – Saint Motel and Kitten on July 1.

The series is part of KCRW’s free “Summer Nights” program, which brings the station’s legendary music programming to many neighborhoods across Southern California over the next few months.

“Also I Like to Rock” headliners include Fitz & the Tantrums, Voxhaul Broadcast, and Admiral Radley (featuring members of Grandaddy and Earlimart). A KCRW DJ will open each show at 7pm and the Hammer museum galleries will stay open until 9pm every night of the series. See the full line up below

To jump the line and get access to the VIP lounge for all four shows, attendees can pick up a “Rock the Summer Pass” for just $25. It also includes membership to both the Hammer and KCRW through October 31, 2010. www.hammer.ucla.edu
