After seeing Ryan Adams last week, I was right and ready for the harmonica/acoustic guitar combo and some nice bluesy guitar licks. Although it’s delivered in bite-sized bits instead of extended jams, their music is definitely for fans of the Grateful Dead.
They were capping off a 7-week tour when they walked into our studios this morning, including a date with LA’s own Dawes last week.
Other song highlights were “Might Find it Cheap” and “Heaven and Earth”, off 2010’s “Destroyer of the Void”.
