Originally from the archipelago Faroe Islands in the Norwegian Sea, Danish producer Brynjolfur now lives in Copenhagen and makes lushly arpeggiated, spacey disco house.

His banging single “I Love You“ was recently released earlier this summer on Eskimo with a handful of excellent remixes by Martin Brodin, Pharao Black Magic and Peter Visti.

Additionally, “I Love You” understandably found a spot on Eskimo’s spectacular “The Pink Collection”.

Brynjolfur has shared a new mixtape with the KCRW Music Blog.

Featuring a couple of Brynjolfur tracks and a grip of excellent tracks by Classixx, New Order, Tin Man, Jagwar Ma, Todd Terje and more, it’s great for these last days of summer and an awesome portrait of the artist and what moves him.

Let it move you too.
