LA music collective The Decoders breathe new life into another classic on the second single off their forthcoming album Vol. 3. “Adventures From Paradise: A Tribute To Minnie Riperton”.

They’re offering the funk-filled disco track “Young, Willing & Able” as a free download in advance of their show at the Hammer Museum THIS Thursday as part of the Music for Better Living series.

Stream “Young, Willing and Able”

It’s a rare disco classic that they’ve re-imagined with help from Andrée Belle on vocals, Jamiroquai co-founder/bassist Stuart Zender, and strings courtesy of Thomas Lea, who performs with Rhye. The full album is due in Fall 2013.
