The May lineup for First Fridays includes the latest project from The Horror’s frontman Farris Badwan. We were absolutely in love with The Horrors last full length, which made it on many of our Top 10 lists, but Cat’s Eyes is a totally different type of band – in fact, it’s just a duo!

It’s a collaboration between Farris and Rachel Zeffira, a Canadian opera soprano and classical multi-instrumentalist based in London.

The group’s first ever live appearance took place in December at St Peter’s in the Vatican and the video quickly made its way around the web.

Their live shows are truly special and somewhat rare appearances so catch them while you can. Tickets for their show at the Natural History Museum as part of First Fridays (presented by KCRW) go on sale TODAY, March 23 at Ticket Web. Find out more info here.

Also, KCRW DJs Anthony Valadez and Eric J Lawrence will be on the decks in the DJ lounge and Crystal Stilts will be opening up the music portion of the evening at 8pm.
