With a Midas-like touch, the UK duo have the uncanny knack for turning any kind of source material into dancefloor gold.
Their latest act of remix-wizardry is a reworking of Syd Arthur’s “Hometown Blues”, transforming this psychedelic rock tune into a bass-heavy cosmic roller.
Glass Animals – “Pools” (Roosevelt Remix)
Glass Animals’ debut full-length “Zaba“, is one of my favorite albums of the year and, judging from the fact that they sold out two shows at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery last month, it’s safe to say they’ve got a healthy-sized fanbase here in LA.
“Pools” is one of the more upbeat tracks from Zaba and gets an excellent remix here by an up-and-coming artist from Joe Goddard’s Greco-Roman camp named Roosevelt.
