A special shout out / thank you to our maestro of music, the boss of blogs, the likable librarian — Eric J. Lawrence. You are a one man army of levelheadedness, intellect and intrigue. I’m gonna miss our music bungalow hang time.

There are two new KCRW Presents confirmations to tell you about:

Band of Skulls at The Wiltern on Friday, September 23

Desert Daze with Deerhunter, Thee Oh Sees, Conan Mockasin, Pond, Suuns, Here We Go Magic, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Bombino and more at the Institute of Mentalphysics on Friday through Sunday, October 14-16

June 3 is the last 2016 edition of First Fridays at the Natural History Museum and will feature live performances by Health, Yacht and Kauf. If you want a shot at getting in, tune into Raul Campos’ show this Sunday at 3pm. He’ll be giving away tickets to our KCRW members.
