October brings not just pumpkin spice into our lives, but nonstop concert action. A late add to the October lineup is “The Man From Mo’ Wax” screening happening later this month. And, closing out the year is the annual Prohibition New Year’s Eve party (because it’s not too early to think about how you’re going to spend the last few hours of 2018).

The Man From Mo’ Wax + James Lavelle (UNKLE) DJ set at the Regent on Saturday October 20

Prohibition NYE 2018 with Classixx and more at Union Station on Monday, December 31

Maribou State at The Roxy on Friday, March 1

Allen Stone and Nick Waterhouse are coming to the Fonda on October 18 and it’s time to get excited. If you’re in the mood for some funk, rhythm & blues, jazz and soul then you need to get yourself into this show. Here’s a sample of what you can expect, this is Allen Stone live on MBE in 2016.

Here’s the part where I tip you off to a special weekend giveaway. This Saturday afternoon Anthony Valadez (3pm-6pm PST) will be giving away tickets to a sold out Café Tacvba show!

If you want to know what other giveaways we have scheduled every day of the year, follow me on Twitter (@acherrymary) for daily updates. I’m fun.
