It feels like concerts are thinning out a bit now that we are rolling into the summer festival season, which means we have fall to look forward to. In the meantime, these are the three shows we have locked down to the KCRW Presents program:

Chromeo at the Palladium on Friday, August 10

Big Thief at Pappy & Harriet’s on Friday, September 28

Tom Misch at the Palladium on Friday, October 19

We are very happy to be presenting the 3rd year of Music Tastes Good at Marina Green Park in Long Beach. Not only does it curate a unique music experience, but there’s also a deliciously curated food portion of the festival that will highlight Long Beach chefs.

Here’s a big concert giveaway heads up for you; Anne Litt (Sunday12pm-3pm PT) will have tickets to see Paul Simon at the Hollywood Bowl! It’s his farewell concert tour so this is the last time you’ll see him perform in the LA area. And while you wait, take a listen to Chris Douridas’ 2 hour interview with Paul back in 2006.

*If you want to know what other giveaways we have scheduled every day of the year, follow me on Twitter (@acherrymary) for daily updates. I’m fun.

And now your 15 day music planner via our KCRW Presents show calendar:

Friday, May 18, Preoccupations at the Echo

Saturday, May 19, Plant Power, the No Beast Feast at Coral Tree Plaza at Border Grill

Wednesday, May 23, Natalia LaFourcade at the Theatre at Ace Hotel – sold out!

Wednesday, May 23, Wajatta at the Teragram Ballroom

Monday, May 28, Eels at the Glass House

Wednesday, May 30, Eels at the Fonda
