
Beirut swept me away with their second album the “Flying Club Cup” – I listened to it repeatedly, fascinated by the wide range of Euro influences (and horns!) and Zach Condon’s totally singular voice. On their newest full length, “The Rip Tide”, Beirut embrace more of a pop sound, while still sounding uniquely their own. The album is out Condon’s Pompeii Records and you can hear a track below.
