Lou Doillon comes from French pop royalty, as the daughter of iconic singer-actress Jane Birkin and half-sister of Charlotte Gainsbourg.
The actress/model/singer talked to Jason about how she’s spent her life drifting with nowhere to call home and no clear career path.
She spent most of her life “dressed up in other people’s clothes” as an actress, but it was with a guitar in her hand that she “found her own identity”.
Lou called herself a “coward” and said she would never have pursued music without encouragement from others. We’re so glad she did.
The entire session was fantastic but “Devil or Angel” was a definite highlight.
