Man vs. Food host Adam Richman has been one of my dream guests to have on the Guest DJ Project since I started it a couple years ago.

Why? Because he is so genuine about his love of food and his appreciation for the unique culture in each of the cities he visits. And, because of that, he seems to love life. And I figure anyone who loves life, loves music.

And I was right. As with many of the guests, he was tortured in selecting just 5 songs but his choices take us on a tour throughout his life — from his youth in the Brooklyn projects, to his move down South for college, to dealing with the death of his father and, finally, celebrating the success as a Travel Channel host.

Frankly, he was as charming as I knew he would be—and honest. His set will make you laugh and might even bring a tear to your eye. I can’t recommend it enough. Listen Here

And, if you’re a fan of the show like I am, here’s a bonus clip and how music helps him with the eating challenges:

If you don’t know his show, listen anyway. It’ll be worth it.
