Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

Thursday, October 15, Miguel is a proud LA native whose seductive hybrid of R&B and soul and boundary-pushing experimentation has earned him comparisons to Prince and cemented his role as a creative force in music today – and likely many years to come. We featured the singer as part of our Apogee Sessions series and bring you highlights from that session, which was hosted by Garth Trinidad.

Monday, October 19, Amason is a Swedish supergroup featuring members of the bands Miike Snow and Dungen, among others. They impressed us with their live set at SXSW earlier this year and MBE guest host Anne Litt will welcome them into our studio to play some brand new songs for us.

Tuesday, October 20, Lianne la Havas is a powerhouse performer with uplifting, soulful pop songs that are playful yet intimate. She’s engaging on every level and full of heart. We’re happy to welcome the UK singer in studio for a live session.

Wednesday, October 21, Natalia Lafourcade is one of Latin America’s leading indie pop artists and her new album “Hasta La Ruiz” is already certified platinum in her native country, Mexico. She’s nominated for five Latin Grammy awards this year and we bring you a live session hosted by KCRW’s Raul Campos.
