The Pet Shop Boys made their ONLY North American radio appearance of their current tour here at KCRW and, on top of that, it was their Morning Becomes Eclecticdebut!

The iconic electro-pop duo – signer Neil Tennant and keyboardist Chris Lowe – are fans of the station and told us they listen to MBE on their way to the studio and tune in to our weekend late night programming.

The band’s first set included songs they play in their live show, while their second were a bit more rare, including “Invisible“, off their album “Elysium” and a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Last to Die”.

The band declined video, but you can hear the entire session in the archives here.
