Rare Times at the Natural History Museum’s First Friday

Chill Quiet Storm meets House dudes Rare Times will be performing with Groundislavathis Friday at the Natural History Museum as part of one of the last line-ups of the 2014 season.

Groundislava’s “TV Dream” and Rare Time’s “Cloudy” are perfect slivers of moody, neon-lit 80s nostalgia that would totally be on the soundtrack to a Cold War action movie about a kid with an Atari video game that has hidden nuclear launch GO codes…on Friday you can be that kid, running from the CIA and hiding out in the crowd, amdist the dioramas and dinosaur bones.

This second to last First Friday will also feature a live performance by LA duo HOLYCHILD and DJ sets by DJ Daddy Kev and KCRW DJ and First Friday residentAnthony Valadez.
