We are happy to announce the return of Masquerade: A Halloween Costume Ball & Dance Party for KCRW on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 9pm to 2am at the Legendary Park Plaza.
I know I may seem biased, but I’ve never had so much fun at a Halloween event as I did at Masquerade last year. Not only was the music amazing – both the live performances and KCRW’s own killer DJs – but the crowd was incredible. The best costumes I’ve ever seen and everyone was having the best time. I’m a true believer that the crowd makes the party – and the KCRW crowd is the best. (and the food trucks! So much fun watching a guy dressed as a pig ordering pork tacos. Ha!)
This year, we’ve added Vaudeville circus troupe Lucent Dossier and the musical acts will be announced soon.
Seriously, this is the place to be and tickets are way cheaper if you buy in advance so I highly recommend it. Pre-sale tickets to Masquerade will be available on Tuesday, September 28 at 10am for the special advance price of $65. Tickets will be $85 at the door.
(The event is 21 and over and all tickets are general admission.)
