KCRW’s front office pretty much went bananas when Jason laid down this mash up track from LA’s own The Arbiters on MBE this morning.

David Bowie’s “Fame”, Lou Reed’s “Walk on the Wild Side” AND 2Pac? Yep!

The Arbiters are a project from former KCRW DJ and current music supervisorThomas Golubic (Breaking Bad! Walking Dead!) alongside music supervisor/producer Josh Marcy and film score composer Dave Porter. The collective joined forces to “bring the underground aboveground with their seamless brand of intelligent bastard pop.”

It’s off their 2006 EP “They are Biters.” And, best of all, it’s available as a free download – with a few other excellent mash ups.
