Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

Wednesday, August 6, Allah-Las sound like they couldn’t have come from anywhere but California. Their simple surf rock style sounds great on a summer day and we’re thrilled to host them on Morning Becomes Eclectic before they play the Santa Monica Pier. Tune in at 11:15am.

Thursday, August 7, Spoon is one of the most consistently great rock bands of the modern era. They join us just days after the release of their new album, so we can experience the new songs live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, August 8:

Australian electronic producer Flume joins Morning Becomes Eclectic to premiere new work in the 10 o’clock hour.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have a motto about balancing optimism in the face of overwhelming odds and they do that with grace on their 4th studio album. They’ll bring the songs to life when they join Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, August 13, Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison breaks out on his own as Owl John, an 80’s-tinged solo project. Here it on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Thursday, August 14, Andy Carthy aka Mr. Scruff is a DJ and a producer who is always evolving. His latest release is a bit more stripped down than his previous work, but with a good amount of gritty funk and stony soul. He’ll join Morning Becomes Eclectic for a live set at 11:15am.

Tuesday, August 19, How to Dress Well’s Tom Krell is a beguiling R&B singer with an ear for a pop hook. His new album is getting a lot of attention at the station and we’ll get to see it live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
