The Bamboos are a funk-soul outlet from Australia and, with the gorgeous vocals of Megan Washington, transform this intense, spacious track into a totally different song.

Megan’s appearances on Lanu’s “Her 12 Faces” made that album one of my most-listened to last year and The Bamboos are one of the most dependably groovy bands around. They recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary as a band and will release their 5th album on Tru Thoughts this year!
