KCRW’s Halloween benefit bash Masquerade is back on Saturday, October 26 from 9p to 2a at the Legendary Park Plaza. Tickets are on sale now.

With circus troupes, costume contests, burlesque performers, food trucks, live screenprinting by Hit + Run, and ghost stories, music is just part of the fun and we’re proud to announce this year’s lineup!

MASQUERADE 2013

FEATURING

The event is 21+ and has sold out every year, so grab your tickets while you can and enjoy a preview of our musical offerings:

Dave Sitek is a musical everyman. Part of indie rock heroes TV on the Radio and the producer behind a slew of great songs, he also likes to get behind the decks every now and then. Here’s a track he produced by Kelis to get you pumped.

Thievery Corporation’s Rob Garza put out an excellent remix album earlier this year and stops by for a solo DJ set. (Bonus: Download his remix of Sunwolf’s “Cherry Crush” here)

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. specialize inindie pop, but when the Detroit duo hit the turntables, they’ll be mixing house and nu-disco to get the dancefloor going.

Har Mar Superstar is pretty much one of the best live performers around. He gives it ALL up there on the stage (including, often, his clothes) and his new record shows a soulful side of this playful provocateur.

Glasser’s highly anticipated sophomore release will be out in early October, so we’ll get to celebrate with the electro-pop queen in person!

Grizfolk are one of LA’s best up and coming bands and they’ll offer up some of their anthemic pop.

Dub, reggae ska and more will fill the Haunted Dancehall thanks to a live set from The Lions and Dub Club‘s Tom Chasteen on the decks.

Traveling throughout the halls of the legendary venue will be the Angel City All-Star Brass Band, led by Todd Simon andpaying homage to the roots of cumbia, afrobeat, soul and ethio-jazz, with some Halloween treats thrown in.
