KCRW’s “On The Beat” commentator Celia Hirschman will lead a marquee panel at the SF MusicTech Summit on Monday, May 17. From Celia:

I’ll have the pleasure of interviewing four outstanding individuals about their impact in the resurgence of viral videos at the SF Music Tech Summit: conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, musician Ben Folds, YouTube Music executive Glenn Otis Brown and musician Jack Conte (one half of the band Pamplamoose). Each of these individuals has had significant impact using the medium of viral video. SF Music Tech Summit brings together an engaged audience of creative and innovative digital music professionals, and this panel looks to be interesting and informative. We’ll discuss the new and innovative ways video is used to engage fans, create art, and connect with the world.

Editor’s Note: Ben Folds gets major points for best use of Chatroulette. Check it out
