The Ultimate 60’s French Pop Playlist from Kari Byron

Written by

KARI BYRONKari Byron is best known as one of the hosts on “Myth Busters”, as well as the Science Channel’s “Head Rush”. This week she joins us as our Guest DJ (listen here!!) and we learned that she is an aficionado of French pop so we asked her to create a playlist for us.

“Remember Simone from PeeWee’s Big Adventure? I feel like a crazy francophile sometimes.

This is a playlist I created from some of my favorite 60’s french pop artists. It starts with the track that inspired the list.

When this is my soundtrack, I step with more wiggle and can’t help but smile. There are a few familiar covers sprinkled in that were part of my courting process with the genre.”

Hear Kari talk about Eileen’s Ces Bottes Sont Faites Pour Marche and find her French Pop playlist below!
