Though their background remains shrouded in mystery. London based up and comers, Colouring, are building quite the pedigree for themselves. Not only have they recorded at L.A.’s own legendary Village Studios (home to many of your favorite Morning Becomes Eclectic performances), but they’ve had they’re music featured by such heavy hitters as Noisey, The Fader, and Zane Lowe.

Naturally then, we here at KCRW are psyched to premiere their brand new track “Symmetry.” Listening to it takes me to very happy place. Singer/song-writer Jack Kenworthy has one of those dreamy reassuring voices that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. The rest of the band backs that voice up admirably by building a lush, atmospheric track that rolls along at such a satisfyingly measured clip. They’re doing their Brit/Canada Pop forbears from the early 2000s (think Doves, the Dears, etc.) very proud while forging a lovely new path that’s theirs’ alone. Press play on “Symmetry” (from their Symmetry EP) now, and prepare for the delicious sense of calm that will soon be rippling through your body.
