Portland-based band Dana Buoy have the right idea with their new song “Too Early.” Songwriter Dana Janssen and long-time collaborator Justin Miller deliver a crisp, psych-pop sound on the single, taken from their forthcoming album Ice Glitter Gold (out on Feb 23rd via Everloving Records). Dana is a familiar voice at KCRW, as he is also a member of the indie-experimental band Akron/ Family (whom I have enjoyed playing on my show over the years).

This dreamy, feel-good track makes you want to dance and express your desires. A soundtrack for finding love with a ‘summer-vibes’ touch. “Too Early” is not only anthemic but has underlining guitar chords that will make you smile in the bright sun.

Join me at The Resident in DTLA April 29th to see them perform and check out the track in the meantime.
